A search for the best Unsigned Acts 2024/2025
We are looking for the best unsigned solo performer and rising star in the UK. As long as you do not have a recording contract, you are eligible to enter. Win a National title, huge exposure, sponsor prizes, 12 months social media support, unlimited backing tracks, feedback and guidance and also an incredible opportunity to represent the United Kingdom in the largest international singing competition – the KWC.

We are delighted and proud to announce our involvement in the 2024 KWC TURKU 2024 (Karaoke World Championships) and that the solo winner of Vocal-Star Unsigned will win flights, accommodation and spending money to Finland in November 2024 to represent the United Kingdom in HUGE Karaoke World Championships. Our 2025 Vocal-Star Unsigned winner will represent the UK at the 2025 KWC World Finals (Location TBC)

Entry for 2024 is closed, but you can now enter to be the 2025 Vocal-Star Unsigned winner & enter now. Any singers 18+ can enter and compete for the prestigious title. Perform in front of thousands around the World, get great exposure and experience. Every genre is welcome and acts can perform covers or original songs, with their own instruments. We are looking for a 2025 solo winner we can help promote. The winner will win a National title, entrance to the 2025 KWC competition including flights, accommodation and spending money in a trip of a lifetime, Global exposure, industry feedback and much much more.

- The winner of the KWC wins the World Champion title, a trophy & medal, a diploma, flights and accommodation to KWC finals the following year and €5000 cash, with a runner up winning €3000 and third place €1000.

United Kingdom at the Karaoke World Championships
The UK has participated in the Karaoke World Championships since 2003 and singer Uche Eke won the first ever competition in the male category, with Danni Cadby winning the female competition.
The UK’s Jenny Ball became World Champion in 2019 after winning the Vocal-Star UK Final in Bournemouth. The prize was a trip to Tokyo where she beat 40 finalists and nearly 40,000 entrants to win the top title.
In 2023, our Vocal-Star Unsigned winner was the outstanding Ellie Butler, whose prize was to travel to Panama to compete in the World Finals. She sang Leona Lewis’s Run, Purple Rain, Stay with me and The Impossible Dream. Ellie managed to deservedly take the World Title and the €5000 prize, as well as a trip to perform at the 2024 World Finals in Finland.

We are a producer of World Class backing tracks, sound and audio equipment. We are very invested in quality music and work with all of the major publishers and record labels Worldwide.
We have also been involved in National and International singing competitions now for a number of years.
We have seen some unbelievable talent over the years and during these competitions we have gotten to know the singers very well. One consistency over all these years is that there are too many performers needing a platform and an opportunity. By holding these incredible competitions annually, we are giving 12 Months investment, exposure, time, advice and resources to each of our category winners: Solo, bands, future stars and musical theatre to give them their best opportunity to showcase their talent and set them on their future path in music.
About KWC Karaoke World Championships
Originating in Finland in 2003 with 7 countries, the Karaoke World Championships are an international karaoke competition, featuring approximately 30 countries worldwide. USA holds 5 gold medals in solo category. Australia, Panama, Lebanon and UK are tied for the second most solo golds, with three each.
The Karaoke World Championships is the world’s biggest and most prestigious global talent competition and karaoke event. It represents a for passion for music, and for global friendships through singing.
